The son of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, was christened yesterday at the Chapel Royal, St. James’ Palace in the United Kingdom.
The ceremony lasted about forty minutes and was comprised of hymns, scripture reading, and anthems along with the baptism. The water used to christen Prince Louis was from the Jordan River.
Guests included Prince Charles and his wife Camilla as well as Prince Harry and his new wife Meghan Markle.
The prince can be seen in photos from the big event asleep in his mother’s arms. Kate, meanwhile, donned an elegant white dress and matching headpiece.
Here are photos of the christening.
